This photo was captured at my husband's hometown, Tangkak. This swallow along with few others, built their own little republic in my father-in-law's back porch, right at the corner of the ceiling. They build their nests out of mud pellets.

the bird looks familiar ... they are not that common here in the city, but i think i have seen something similar at my MIL's house (in the province). it built a nest at the upper corner of their porch, too! :)
