I just got to watch La vita è bella for the first time. It's a beautiful movie. The movie is about a father, Guido, keeping his son alive during the German occupation in Italy. Guido tries his best to keep his son from hunger, from being killed and most importantly to survive the life in concentration camp. He told his son that it was a game and they collect points when they do something; even little things like hiding or keeping quiet.
I wept when he was murdered after being caught by the Nazi, trying to find his wife. And wept again when his son boarded the victory tank and found his mother at last.
I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin,
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what?s waiting on the other side
It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I'm not breaking
I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on, cause
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about
It's all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith
I don't feel like working this weekend and have been potato-couching since Friday night. I was not feeling too well either. I just tuned in my favourite channel and there was Becoming Jane. It was quite a good story despite the controversy of the actual story of Jane Austen and the love of her life. I have never read Jane Austen's novels before but after doing research on her I am attracted to the fact that she was an English novelist and one of the most widely read and most beloved writers in English literature. I watched Emma (a movie based on her novel) and love the story very much and will stroll along the literature books aisle of any bookstore near me to find novels by Jane Austen. I am thinking of getting few books of hers for my year-end trip to an island (yet to decide on which island but most probably those from Terengganu).
And today, I watched PS I Love You for the 2nd time. I cried a lot during the first time I saw it. Not much change today. The movie somehow touched my heart so deeply. I am a cry baby so I will cry on any scene that provoke my tears. Gerard Butler (ehem..Nessa) looks so handsome not to mention Hilary Swank. She's a babe!
I just logged in after helping my son with his homework and hope the mood to work is here. I am in need of it to finish all my work. ALL! I am so behind deadlines!
Here's a photo from my album; it's my neighbour's. Saw the love shape and quickly took a shot if it.
Everytime I pass the tv area, I will hear this breaker from Cartoon Network. My son is CN fanatic and Chowder is one of his favourite cartoon. It really made my day every time I saw it. I love Chowder too!!!
Here's the lyric; come let's sing together! Anny? Spiffy? Nessa? You're up to it? I believe you can cook You should believe, cause I believe in you You just have to try and trust your gut that it can put food on plate Cause you're the best chef in the world And everything I learned, I learned from you Even if I didnt understand a word On the wings of an eagle
Hahahahahahaha I really love the lyrics! The last line is so irrelevant!
I am a big fan of Tori. Really big. This is one of my favourites from her.
Never was a cornflake girl Thought that was a good solution Hanging with the raisin girls She's gone to the other side Givin us a yo heave ho Things are getting kind of gross And I go at sleepy time This is not really happening You bet your life it is
Peel out the watchword Just peel out the watchword
She knows what's goin on Seems we got a cheaper feel now All the sweetcaze are gone Gone to the other side With my encyclopedia They musta paid her a nice price She's putting on her string bean love This is not really happening You bet your life it is
Peel out the watchword Just peel out the watchword
Never was a cornflake girl Thought that was a good solution
Rabbit where'd you put the keys girl And the man with the golden gun thinks he knows so much Thinks he knows so much Rabbit where'd you put the keys girl

I came to know about this song when I first heard the late Leslie Cheung sang it in the early 90s. I looked for the cassette later and found out that the real singer was Chyi Yu. Story was released back in 1987 and Chyi has recorded 24 albums since 1978. She was born in October 17, 1958.
I memorised the lyric to this day.
Story I remember quite clearly now when this story happened. The autumn leaves were floating and measured down to the ground. Recovering the lake where we use to swim like children On the sun would dare to shine That time, we used to be happy Well, I thought we were But the truth was that-- you had been longing to leave me Not daring to tell me On that precious night watching the lake vaguely conscious You said: Our story was ending. Now I'm standing here No one to wipe away my tears No one to keep me warm And no one to walk along with No one to make me feel No one to make me while OH! What am I to do? I'm standing here alone It doesn't seem so clear to me What am I supposed to do about this burning heart of mine OH! What am I to do? Or how should I react? OH! Tell me please! The rain was killing the last days of Summer You had been killing my last breath of love Since a long time ago I still don't think I am gonna make it through another love story You took it all away from me And there I stand, I knew I was gonna be the ..... The one left behind. But still I'm watching the lake vaguely conscious And I know--- My life is ending.

I just can't wait for another Monday to post this song. I discovered Mary Black back in 1993 through a good friend, Nina, and I must say that fell in love with her voice ever since.
If life is a river and your heart is a boat And just like a water baby, baby born to float And if life is a wild wind that blows way on high Then your heart is amelia dying to fly Heaven knows no frontiers And Ive seen heaven in your eyes
And if life is a bar room in which we must wait round the man with his fingers on the ivory gates Where we sing until dawn of our fears and our fates And we stack all the deadmen in self addressed crates In your eyes faint as the singing of a lark That somehow this black night Feels warmer for the spark Warmer for the spark To hold us til the day When fear will lose its grip And heaven has its way Heaven knows no frontiers And Ive seen heaven in your eyes
If your life is a rough bed of brambles and nails And your spirits a slave to mans whips and mans jails Where you thirst and you hunger for justice and right Then your heart is a pure flame of mans constant night In your eyes faint as the singing of a lark That somehow this black night Feels warmer for the spark Warmer for the spark To hold us til the day when fear will lose its grip And heaven has its way And heaven has its way When all will harmonise And know whats in our hearts The dream will realise
Heaven knows no frontiers And Ive seen heaven in your eyes Heaven knows no frontiers And Ive seen heaven in your eyes

She is hiding In Plain Sight. If you could find this image via the link provided below, then you are one helluva great "webtective"! Just a game for you to play while seeking information about USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight. The series has been premiering in the US since June 1st and it's about Mary, a U.S. Marshal who is attached to the highly secretive Federal Witness Protection Program (WITSEC). Even with all the risk and stress inherent in Mary's job, she finds it hard to deal with her personal life, which is already complicated by the fact that her family and friends can't know the true nature of her work for the safety of everyone involved. I love this type of original series and can't wait for the DVD release. (Images provided by USA Network)
I don't have a radio at home so all the listening is from the car or you tube, imeem, or playlist.com. My favourite radio channel is Mix.fm and thanks to their current playlist, I found Colbie Caillat! Great music, pretty face. I fell in love right away with her music.
Caillat is noted for her MySpace profile which led her to become the number-one unsigned singer in her genre for four months. Her popularity on the social network was partially due to her song "Bubbly". Her profile has garnered over thirty-one million plays! Wowwww!
The best from Jason Castro, so far. I think he likes this song. I don't really clicked with his rendition of September Morn or any other previous songs he sang. Tetapi itulah, maybe it was just me, I like this song, you know.
My husband, son and I saw The Cars yesterday. We loved it! My son loved Mater the hee-haw tow truck. And so do I! I loved it when he did that little scream of joy as he drove backwards in order to try and jump over the moon. His two front teeths were very cute and my son thought that they were like his. Mater is one of the funniest Pixar characters.
Overall, I think Cars was great. Pixar has done a great job and I have to say that it was stunning. Cars has more soul and makes you realized that life is not all about winning...it is about the friends we make and experiences we have along the way. Life is a highway.
Anyway, I've really liked all Pixar movies. To me, they each have had strong points. A Bug's Life: Great Characters and music Finding Nemo: One great tear-jerking movie Incredibles: Wonderful story
