Raub's Pigeons

Suatu hari masa nak pulang ke KL melalui bandar Raub, aku ternampak seorang pakcik sedang beri makanan pada burung. Suasana amat menarik lalu aku memberhentikan kereta.

Bird: Cliff Swallow

This photo was captured at my husband's hometown, Tangkak. This swallow along with few others, built their own little republic in my father-in-law's back porch, right at the corner of the ceiling. They build their nests out of mud pellets.

Bird: Parrot

I took this picture using my husband's Fujifilm Finepix S5000 last year. I can't remember the species name, will check it out when I have the time to revisit KL Bird's Park.

Do you know that parrots are some of the most intelligent birds as they can imitate human voices?

Bird: Hornbill

A hornbill I befriended while strolling along the Pangkor Beach last year. I'm not sure about the genus, it might be Oriental Pied Hornbill, but I could be wrong. I'm planning to go again with my family come school holiday in November or December.

Bird: Oriental Magpie Robin

Captured at the Port Dickson hotel area. He noticed my being there and posed for me. The Oriental Magpie Robin is a common and tame bird. It is terrestrial, hopping along the ground with cocked tail. This one is a 'he' coz according to Wikipedia, the male has black upperparts, head and throat apart from a white shoulder patch. The underparts and the sides of the long tail are white. Females are grey above and greyish white.
