Long Way Down

When I saw Ewan McGregor’s Long Way Down promo, it brings back the memory when I first learned how to ride a motorbike. I was 12 and it was a scrambler. I took that trip around my hometown with my cousin like nobody's business. When my mother found out about it, of course we got a scolding. A 12 and 14 year old girls riding a motorbike without a license? We must be crazy! But my mother never knew that I took that ride on a motorbike (without having a license) and went for the driver's license test 13 years later!

Anyway, I wouldn't want to miss this ultimate motorcycle adventure. Hoping to see the show in Malaysia soon. So if you're living in the US, don't missed the chance to see this unique event in selected local movie theatres for one night only, on Thursday, July 31st at 7:30pm! This is your only chance to see a Fathom exclusive cut of Long Way Down – Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Moulin Rouge!, Trainspotting) and Charley Boorman’s (Actor and Motorcycle Fanatic) 15,000 mile motorcycle journey from Scotland to South Africa on the big screen. Join McGregor and Boorman as they face many challenges from the unknown and unforgiving terrain that test their endurance, driving skills and push their friendship to the limit.

Here's a preview of the adventure (click the arrow to play):

Directed and produced by David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, Long Way Down is a follow-up to the Long Way Round trip of 2004, which documented the motorcycle journey from London to New York via Russia, Kazakstan, Mongolia and North America.
