Balik Raub

Hari ni aku balik Raub ambil emak. Kalau tak nampak aku online disebelah sana, itulah sebabnya. Banyak barang emak aku nak kena angkut.

Pergi Mekah

Mak, pakcik dan makcik aku dok tunggu surat tentang jadual penerbangan ke Mekah dari awal bulan lagi dan asyik telefon pejabat Tabung Haji. Selalunya jawapannya 'belum lagi, puan', 'tunggu surat ya', 'nanti kami maklumkan' dan sebagainya. Pagi tadi mereka dapat panggilan dari Tabung Haji mengatakan penerbangan mereka dijadualkan pada hari 1hb November 2009. Mak oii! 3 hari lagi?!!!

Ok, mungkin aku akan sibuk dua tiga hari ni nak uruskan kenduri doa selamat dan what-not.

Ah...this photo reminds me of one of my favourite book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. A simple great classic. It tells us to go beyond our limitations and not to give up hope.

Rama-Rama dan Aku

Tangkap gambar rama-rama hinggap ditangan sendiri; rasanya seperti masuk bakul angkat sendiri. Payah nak adjust setting kamera tapi takpa bolehlah juga. Ada sekali tu rama-rama hinggap di LCD screen; nak tangkap gambar rama-rama tu guna suami aku punya LG Arena KM900 tapi bateri dah kong.

Laksam hapak!

Aku makan laksam hari ni di salah satu cawangan kedai yang terkenal dengan laksa-laksa Malaysia. Rasanya? TAK SEDAP!!!! Kuahnya masin dan tepung laksamnya berasa hapak!! Aku hanya makan sesudu dan komplen! Lepas ni aku tak nak makan lagi dekat tempat tu. Dah masuk dalam BAN list aku! Dahlah harganya RM9.90!! Hujung bulan ni aku nak balik kampung dan makan laksam pekan sari Raub yang harganya hanya RM3.00 puas-puas!

Oh dan lagi satu, buatan laksamnya tak ada seni langsung! Yang aku tahu, selalunya laksam akan digulung dan dipotong cantik-cantik. Tapi yang ini macam tepung tu dibaling pada dinding dan kemudian dikutip satu persatu.

Dapat kamu bayangkan? Dapat ya? Terima kasih.

Fatigue

It has been more than a month already that I have been fighting with laziness. Today I realised that it might not be laziness so I searched for information for any kind of sickness that includes fatigue. Found one: Chronic fatigue syndrome. Some of the symptoms include:

• Impaired memory or concentration
• Unrefreshing sleep
• Muscle pain (myalgia)
• Pain in multiple joints (arthralgia)
• Headaches of a new kind or greater severity
• Sore throat, frequent or recurring

I happen to have all of the above. No wonder.

PS: I Love You

I don't feel like working this weekend and have been potato-couching since Friday night. I was not feeling too well either. I just tuned in my favourite channel and there was Becoming Jane. It was quite a good story despite the controversy of the actual story of Jane Austen and the love of her life. I have never read Jane Austen's novels before but after doing research on her I am attracted to the fact that she was an English novelist and one of the most widely read and most beloved writers in English literature. I watched Emma (a movie based on her novel) and love the story very much and will stroll along the literature books aisle of any bookstore near me to find novels by Jane Austen. I am thinking of getting few books of hers for my year-end trip to an island (yet to decide on which island but most probably those from Terengganu).

And today, I watched PS I Love You for the 2nd time. I cried a lot during the first time I saw it.  Not much change today. The movie somehow touched my heart so deeply. I am a cry baby so I will cry on any scene that provoke my tears. Gerard Butler (ehem..Nessa) looks so handsome not to mention Hilary Swank. She's a babe!

I just logged in after helping my son with his homework and hope the mood to work is here. I am in need of it to finish all my work. ALL! I am so behind deadlines!

I saw sea shells on the sea shore

 

These pictures were taken on my last trip to Tioman Island using reverse lens technique. Yes, even if it meant that I had to take off my lens from the body, reversed it, held open the shutter latch, lay down on my stomach and get myself soaked with salty water and sand; I would do it all over again. It's ugly but that is the trouble of not having a macro lens :'(

Anyway, let's do this tongue twister together:

Janjiku pada diri sendiri: AKU TIDAK AKAN MEMBUAT SEBARANG KERJA TANPA MENGAMBIL BAYARAN MUKA 50% (IF NOT FULL)...

Buah yang tak gugur....

Alhamdulillah, aku baru sahaja menerima bayaran dari kawan aku yang sepatutnya dijelaskan 1 tahun yang lalu. Aku tidak akan mengganggu dia dengan panggilan, sms dan e-mel mengenai pembayaran. Dia akan tenang melalui hari-harinya. ^_^

Dua tiga bulan lepas aku sepatutnya menerima bayaran dari satu rangkaian pengiklanan secara online terbesar di Malaysia. Dari sebulan ke sebulan, pengurusannya atau lebih tepat lagi pengasasnya meminta penangguhan atau dasar ekonomi meleset. Dia membayar aku 1/5 dari jumlah pembayaran sebelum hari raya (ini bukanlah perjanjian asal dimana perjanjian asal aku dibayar jumlah penuh). Aku akur setelah dia berjanji membayar bakinya dalam bulan September. Sekarang sudah bulan Oktober. Dua tiga hari lepas aku mengirimkan e-mel kepadanya. Tiada jawapan. Hari ini aku mengirim sms padanya. Tiada jawapan. Lalu aku panjangkan e-mel terdahulu. Tiada juga jawapan.

Masih hidupkah dia?
